okey so i entered an area in computers im not very super familar with.
Ive been looking at notebooks, and i narrowed it down between 2
HP Compaq 8710P Nvidia NVS320m 256megs 2100 dollars
HP Compaq 8710w Nvidia Quadro FX1600M 512megs <--- 2300 dollars
My first and foremost importance is battery life. I travel due to work reasons a lot. So my first question is would the 512meg card eat away at battery life?
Second i would like to play some games on it. I am a RTS stragity whore like supreme commander, and civilization series. Is the NVS320m good enough for games?
I also heard both the FX1600M and NVS320 are both 8700GT-M's Is the 200 dollars worth it for me to get an extra 256megs of ram?
I am most definitely replacing the CPU with T7700 and also replacing the ram with 4gb if i get the 8710p.
The 8710w comes with a T7300 so i dont think i'll replace that. I may add 4gb of ram to it however.
Which would be a better path to go?
