need help: best car for 20 year old, under $7000

the ones that come to mind for me are toyota camry, honda civic/accord, even a prizm. any other suggestions?

i'm cosigning a loan for my cousin, and want her to have something reliable. She considered a VW Passat but i gave a firm no to that one.

Can't go wrong with a mid-late 90's Accord/Camry. The 94-96 Camry's were probably some of the best ones ever built.
