Need Help (Audio Related). Topic: Suppressing /controlling RCA line level voltage

Hey

In a nutshell, i have an RCA signal coming out of a source and going into a converter in my car that feeds my head unit.

There is NO adjustment for the level of the RCA signal coming out of the source (it's an XM radio controller by pioneer)

I need something that would hook up in-line and allow me to tone down the level of the incoming signal

something like this i would imagine....
