Need help assigning file extensions.

I just updated IrfanView 3.80 and it took over all the file extensions. Quicktime will not play all of my files. I have some .swf files that need to be assigned to a program that can run them. These are Shockwave Flash files. How do I assign them? How do I find the correct path when asked for location?

from windows explorer, go to
tools > options > file types
look for .swf
under "open with", click "change"
assign it to the program you want to use to open the file

to find where the program is located, just do a search for the program name ... or if they have entry in the start menu, just right click > properties to find out where it is located
