NEED HELP ASAP, mobo Abit KT7E problems please read.

as of right now, i have an abit KT7E well the problem is i have a 600mhz duron and im about to buy a athlon 1.3 ghz. The fact of the matter is i really dont know if this motherboard will support the cpu. I know it doesnt support xp line of cpus. and looking in my bios.. the multipliers go to 10x and the bus speed will go to 133mhz so it looks like it will work, but im still not 100% sure. Do I need to get a bios update, the chipset is KT133E its a good board, but i dont want to get a cpu that might not work, can anyone check this for me or tell me if they know anything about this. If i didnt give enough info just tell me. Thanks alot.

This is what the ABIT site says....

"Support AMD Athlon/Duron 700MHz ~ 1.2GHz Socket A Processors based on 200MHz"

However I know for a fact it can run 133MHz bus speed w/o a problem so I dont see why you wouldn't be able to run the 1.4GHz Athlon. (except for possible multiplier limit in softmenu? Might have to settle for 1333 Mhz?)

I am using one of these with an 800MHz Duron (6 x 133) for the wifes computer.

If you have any luck lemme know as I may wanna upgrade the wifes computer soon too.
