I'm not sure where to post so mods plz move as appropriate:

As the title says, I am in big trouble (not to mention super bummed) because I have lost my dell venue pro 8 on an airplane. I'm working with the airline to get it back but in the meantime I am worried about someone nefarious getting the data on it. Unfortunately because it was new and I was stupid, I didn't set up or install any remote wipe programs. I did use a four digit pin to lock it but I know that's not much protection.

I am primarily worried about my windows mail app (linked to my gmail acct) and my Zipwhip app which is linked to the SMS on my phone. I changed my gmail password but I'm not sure that that wound would prevent someone from using the windows mail app to read old emails. Does anyone know how to change the password on the windows mail app remotely? Or maybe even deactivate gmail if that would prevent access to old emails? Or do you have any other suggestions of what to do in this situation?

I guess the cold hard truth is that if they are smart and don't connect the tablet to the internet and just look at my old emails and texts, me changing pw and deleting emails with sensitive info is useless. Fudge.

I removed my credit card information from my Microsoft account

The Windows Mail app just gives you access to the mail services you are signed up for, AFAIK. So, if someone does get into the app, they won't be able to retrieve new messages once you have changed your password.
