Need Help!!!!, ANTS in my Hard Drive!!!

Believe it or not, after a windows BSOD: UNMOUNTABLE_VOLUME, I got out the hard drive to checkit in other computer, and perplex I saw ANTS coming out from it, when got hot in a low level format, what can I do?, the disk sometimes shows errors, other times works fine, i suspect, still are some ANTS, they show his little heads in HD holes, but refuse to leave it, to DLDIAG utilities recovers bad sectors, it appears to be OK, but I'm not sure if the disk has suffered some mayor damage. I've no saw other ants in any other device, or in the CASE, so i have no idea how did this bugs get in there.

On the other side, you will definately have problems with the drive. Get everything off of it you can and dump it. It's no longer any good once the drive platters have been exposed to ambient conditions.(dust is a killer to drive heads)
 
this is funny, but seriously, back up your stuff because something like an ant could destroy your HD. They probably like the warmth of the drive and you probably have crumbs around your computer
 
I have heard ants will not cross chalk so maybe outline your monitor. Warning- it could be just an old wives tale. If ants are in the drive though definitely back it up and get a new one. Man:0; Mother Nature:1.
 
Thank's god it was the windows drive, and had no data stored, just windows, the data drive is OK, i didn't leave any food near PC, no other devices had ants, neather the other hard drive, I'm repartitioning and formatting now, i'll let you know what happent

The disk has repartitioned & reformated with no errors, no more ants have come out, what can i expect now, has this drive become a time-bomb?, I don't know if ants got to the plates, i suppose the plates are sealed, i think what could happen is that ants make short-circuit, and the drive became crazy & lost all data & partitions.
 
this is too funny...
Fumigate your room, don't eat around your computer or at least don't make a mess. Fumigate your HD if you can
Buy a new HD and transfer what you can before you lose anything important.
