Need Help: Analog TV-out *RESOLVED*

Here is the situation:

I would like to display video on my old 32" SD CRT from my laptop. This TV is connected to a Pioneer VSX-D608 receiver.

I am using the front S-Video and component inputs. Audio works fine (as it should, nothing needs to be converted), but I get no video.

The laptop is an HP with an Intel GMA915 chip. It does have TV-out capability (unless they installed the wrong driver), and has a mini-DIN out compatible with S-Video.

I plug the S-Video into the receiver front, set the receiver to take input from the front, and set the laptop to display onto TV. No thing happens. I mean, not even a slight flicker on the TV to tell me that at least some juice is getting through.

Anybody have experience with this that can help me?

To add to this, it seems like I have every manual for everything in the house except for the damned receiver.

Ok, nevermind, issue resolved. I found my manual.

Turns my receiver can't send an S-Video input to a RCA/composite analog output, or vice versa. This case would be the former.

Thanks for reading.
