Need Help: Am I able to sell/activate these T-Mobile To Go Refill Cards?

A friend of mine gave me 9 T-Mobile to Go $25 Refill Cards that he no longer needs since he opened a Sprint account. He said to go ahead and sell them but I am not sure if I can. They have never been used of scratched. it says "Gold Rewards: get 15% more minutes on every refill after spending $100! And your minutes won't expire for a year!" then on the back in bold print it says...
"Unused minutes expire 90 days after activation of this card. With Gold Rewards, unused minutes expire 1 year after activation of this card"
BUT further down in non-bold print it says...
"Void if not activated 90 days from purchase"
We have no idea how long it has been since purchase and now way to find out even though we know it hasn't been anywhere near 90 days. How would they even know when the card was purchased? And what would happen if the card was never even purhcased (ie. given free by a kiosk owner without being rung up etc)

Would greatly appreciate anyone's help!!!!
thanks in advance

no one have tmobile to go?

Can you call them up and just tell them that someone gave you a gift and you want to know when they expired?

i believe i would have to scratchoff the cards to provide them with the card #'s and i really don't want to do that if i am planning on selling them, no one would want to buy already scratched off cards

PM sent

but no one knows if they are valid? I asked a tmobile guy and he said they are valid because if you purchase them at a tmobile store they give you a dated printout of the refill card but since mine are calling card looking refill cards they can't be traced to a purchase point, any thoughts?
