Need Help! AIW 8500 and fast writes

I can't seem to get fast writes to work! My bios supports them (8kha+) and i thought the 8500 did. Is it an AIW thing? Any help would be awesome!

also, what are the retail clock speeds for an AIW 8500DV 64mb card? my speeds are messed up!

Same prob here. I thought Cat3.0 was supposed to fix the incorrectly displayed "fast writes off" status.

I got a brand new 2k SP2 DX8.1 install with Cat 3.0, and the "fast writes" are always shown as off. When I click on "detect" the flag goes to "On" but turns off after reboot.

Any comments?

275/275 retail

Fast Writes doesn't effect Radeon cards from what I'm told/read. I enabled them in my bios, then turned on in Control Panel, but then after reboot, there off. Doesn't matter anyway.
