Need help & advice on a CPU,MB, memory and video card upgrade

Hi guys I been out of computers for 5 years since my last build and my system now is 5 years old so I want to upgrade but am confused with so much new stuff kind of lost not sure what would be best so really need your advice. One question I have a SSD G2 would the below MB's chipset support ahci?

Budget like to be around $250.00 - $312.00 looking to spend the least I can.
Need CPU, MB, memory & video Card (Intel or AMD is fine)

Computer Use
Light video editing
PS 6.0
Light gaming once in awhile with older games.

I am running Win 7
Midsize tower case
My PS is a newer OCZ Mod X Stream Pro 700w

Thanks batuchak I am deciding between a the Propus 630 X4 2.8 & no Cache and the Phem II Black X3 w/6mb cache (chance might be able to unlock the 4th core) thanks for bringing the AMD Propus to my attenion!

If you know any other deals on CPU/MB combos with with the Propus 630 2.8 & MB or the Phem II X3 black 2.8 & MB please post it here for me.
