Need help accessing folder!

Hi all,
I recently added a new hard drive and slaved my old one. I kept my My Documents folder on the old disk as there is a lot of info I need to access on it.
However when I go to the old drive, I can see the folder but I'm getting an "Access is Denied" error.
Prior to adding this new drive I had password protected this folder against other users of this computer so I suspect it has something to do with that but the Sharing option is greyed out.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Btw I am logged in as administrator and have even tried sharing the entire drive but I still can't get access to it.
