Need Hekp with Lsass.exe Error

Hey all,

I was playing EQ2 last nite, and it seems a couple golems got loose and fubar'd my puter! I crashed from EQ2 to reboot and now after post and splash, right before xp welcome screen I get a black screen and LSASS.EXE error. if i close it or hit ok the systme reboots and same thing happens. I tried F8 safe mode and all other choices and same thing, right before safe mode would pop up i get LSASS.EXE error.

I have read that the LSASS.EXE is related to the SASSER worm, but all the workarounds seem to assume you can get into windows to make changes...but I cant get into windows.

Also seems this particular LSASS.EXE error is not related to SASSER (from what i have read) but no one seems to have a fix for it either...was hoping some fellow anandtecher could help me out.

Do you have a restore disk made? You could try doing a system restore. Boot from your WinXP CD and then use the system restore disks(if you made them).

All I can think of at the moment.
