not sure where to post this....

im in need of a heatsink for an e6700....whats the best one out there, price doesn't matter

thanks

1 and 3 are duplicates and the AC 7 pro works great. You also do not need to remove your MB to install like you do number 2

The Zalman for sure, but if you want the best check out the CNPS-9700.

For future reference; next time try the "Cases & Cooling" forum.

so the ac freezer 7 just pops in like the stock heatsink right?....no need to remove the motherboard for a backplate

i know this was addresed above somewhat but just wanted to make sure b/c i do not feel like taking out my mb

I thought price didn't matter?😀 BTW, the best heatsink on the planet is the Tuniq Tower 120: link. But, for the Tuniq, like most good heatsinks, you have to remove your motherboard.

i just ordered the ac7 and an extra 80mm case fan and some arctic silver 5 grease

ive never used arctic 5...am i going to have to remove the grease that went onto my spu from the stock heatsink or what?
