I'm looking for a set of HD280 Pros or an equivalent closed circumaural headphones in the $70 - $80 range.
 
I got mine for $60 so it's certainly possible to get the 280s in your range.

Mine were from ecost, but I haven't checked their pricing in a while. Last few times I searched their site I couldn't find them.

Last time I found a good price it was at ZZF.
