Need hard drive suggestions

Hello all,

I am currently using a Samsung spinpoint 500gig sata 3g harddrive but am thinking of moving it over to my NAS sever need to add more space. I will need a new HD I have heard good things about the WD 640g drives any others I should consider? looking for something fast between 500gig and 700gig. Should I consider Raid 0? Not sure if my ABit can support raid though

I wouldn't bother with RAID 0. With two drives in the array the performance gain is minimal, and the risk of drive failure is doubled.

Yeah I just googled raid 0 and allot of people are saying it is just not worth it. Thanks for the reply
