Depends on what you want to do with the drive, if you should get the Green series, since it's touted as "power conservative". If you want a higher performance drive then get one of the others. If you want it for normal storage you won't be disappointed with the Green, I'm sure.
I'd stay away from the older 7200.11 series, even though I've been a Seagate fan for a long while now and I'm sure any new drives won't have the firmware problems at this point. The company just handled that debacle badly. The new 7200.12 is only worth looking at cause it's their new platter tech and the 1TB drive only has 2 platters. This is purely a geek tech-fascination aspect, though.
The Spinpoints were on sale at Newegg recently and I was just about to pull the trigger, but I had to wait, and the sale ended.
