Need haircut advice

Im a guy who is self conscious about the way my hair is but not in a gay way so I dont need to hand my man card in 😉. Anyways my hair is growing too long so I was wondering whats a good to cut it.
Right now its all slicked back and because I have a box head it works however some problems are : curly hair when short, it takes long to grow and I tend to use gel. So thus Im confronted with this dilemma which everyday consumes me when I struggle to comb my hair. Any examples of 'in' styles would be much appreciated

I think I'll have to start qualifying all my statements like that now, (but not in a gay way, mind you...) just so there's no ambiguity. :roll:
