Need Guaidance - Automated Home Theater

Hi guys,

I have heard about home automation systems through which one can have the control of his complete home via only ipad or laptop. Currently, I want to install automated home theatre where my family can have a fun time at supper or meal.

A friend of mine has told me many products starting from Homelogic, Elane, Crestron, intraHouse and AMX. I need suggestion which product I should go for?

and i use Roomie Remote ...

and i control my projector, avr, cable box, bluray player, ps3, and xbox360. i haven't converted my xbox1 to use it though or ps4, just because i never use those consoles without having the controller on anyways so it's just kind of pointless.

i do plan on eventually one day converting my dimmer switch for the lighting to be able to be controlled by this as well but just haven't gotten around to it.
