Need great 19" gaming monitor

is there anyway you can get one of those locally-shipping a monitor can be considered harmful since it is being jarred more, but you never know if you have to go to a sh!ty B&M

I would definitely say that the one for $50 more is worth it. You get higher resolutions, better dot pitch, better frequency, and larger viewable size.

Been discussed many many times including today. only thing I left out is the 930 is .24 compared to the variable dp of the other 2 you listed. You decide if its worth it, it was for me. Also check out Dell for that monitor, you may get it cheaper there with free shipping and 10% off monitors. If you don't have taxes in your state for Dell then it is a no brainer. The same things discussed with the 22"viewsonic apply to the 95+

The NEC and mit models are the same monitor. All I can guess is they want more money for mit name on it. They did same with the nec fp 912 and mit dp930 19" model. 930 did cost a bit more. Then they discontinued the nec 912 and just market the mit 930. I imagine they are going to do the same with the 22" and make the high end model mitsubishi.
For the refresh question and all others you may have I recommend going to nec site and having a live chat with support about the monitor. That's what I did and they were very helpful in me making up my mind. I think one of the most important things if u are getting a 22" is: do you have a quality video card. If not go with a 19". Things to consider between the viewsonic and nec is that the nec\mit high end models have a 1 gun focus system for better tighter focus and a true flat screen (diamondtron natural flat) The viewsonic actually uses a stock diamondtron tube as does the nec fe2111 and nec fe991 which is a slightly curved tube, variable pitch with flat glass in front of the tube.

i see thanks for the input and advice, im probably gonna save up and get the diamondtron sometime or another.

Very good choice. I just bought that exact Mitsubishi 19" monitor a month ago, and I'm positively THRILLED with it.

If it helps, I got mine for a little bit cheaper (but still a bit more than $250), from here:

DP930SB-BK 19"

Do you think securemart.com is as reliable as newegg.com? What about the one on dell.com?
Edit: Oh man that Sumsung one on bestbuy.com looks just as good for $100 less?

I checked securemart out before I bought from dell. Their return policy if i remember said you have to return the monitor to manufacturer for a exchange, return. The reason I went with dell is their no hassle return policy, just send it back to em. It was the reason I went with them. Newegg has a obscure policy, some said ne wouldnt exchange monitors and some said they did. If you go with ne i would definately pin them down on their policy. If I had it to do over again I would order a monitor from Dell due to the chance you dont like it or somethings wrong and you sure don't want to be stuck with expensive shipping.
