I need some video card advice. *I am getting ready for BF3 and need to upgrade my video card (currently have a gtx285 which is just not going to cut it).

Other key things from my system are listed below, based on those, I want to see what type card you recommend (given the res I run at and potential CPU bottlenecks) I get, as well as specific model recommendations.

My system:
Mobo - Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P 790X AMD
Cpu - AMD Phenom II x4 940 Black Edition 3.0Ghz (overclocked to 3.6Ghz)
Ram - 4 gb SDRAM DDR2 1066 PC2 8500 (overclocked to 1333) and will likely upgrade to 8 gb
Monitor - My monitor runs at 1650 x 1050

Regarding a specific card, I am looking at a GTX, and not looking to sli, so I am ok with a card that takes 3 slots. *I would prefer one that is relatively quiet (wife hates noise so I am trying to change some fans, power supply, etc.. for quieter components).

From a budget standpoint, I am actually open ended. *At first I was worried about 'bang for the buck' (ie - pay 50 bucks for , but I think my bottleneck (regarding bang for buck) will be the monitor resolution (I don't plan to upgrade monitor for a while).

Thanks much! *I appreciate the help.

Gtx560 to might not be a big enough jump for the op. I recommend that you check out anandtech bench and directly compare the 2 cards; you probably need a 570/6970.

He is gaming at low res, don't need anything more than gtx560 ti or 6950. Save some cash for the extra 4gb ram if you intend to get 8gb.

Get the 2gb version if it is not much more expensive.

I'm also at 1680 x 1050, and I just jumped to a gtx 480. The resolution doesn't matter, it's the relative performance if the cards.
