dont want to spend more than £1000-£1100. Infact that is my limit.

Can anyone give advice on good places in the uk to get them from?

Im not going for a dell notebook for personal issues I have with dell :|

Cheers
Dan

You may wish to have a look at the Intel Centrino laptops (link to AT article on Centrino), as they have wireless networking (in case you decide to put wireless in your house), and much improved CPU power (1.6GHz P-M is about the same as a 2.4GHz P4-m), and better battery life.

My best bet would be to go to somewhere like PC World, and have a look at them, see how they feel, with the keyboard, screen and weight etc, then hunt around for best price. Unfortunately, I don't know many places to get laptops from.

Oh yeah, and, if you are maybe wanting to do some gaming from it, look into the Radeon Mobility 9000/9600 graphics chip in it 🙂

I would go to Tottenham court road in London if you could. They offer some really good deals.

You can bargain with them a little so thats very good.

Im always around that area, ive heard a lot of good things about TCR.

What exactly is so special about it?

Ive never seen a computer store there 😕

Dont tell me....., im blind right? :Q

Dan 🙁

Anyone available to answer ^^^those questions?

Anyone else got any recommendations or know of any other UK stores for Laptops?

Thanks
Dan
