Need good spam filter for Outlook Exchange server

I've been using SpamBayes at home for a few years and have gotten GREAT results in spam filtering. My office is a different story though. We have about 100 employees and are using Microsoft Exchange Server. Many people are complaining more and more about the time spent filtering spam. I'd like to have some good suggestions to take to our IT guy about how to fix this. Our whole office is on Microsoft Windows XP using Outlook 2003. Our office is using Exchange Server 2003 SP1. A good range from cheap to expensive would be helpful.

We have been telling people to block senders on junk email but it's not helping much...something at the server level would be much better it seems.

Dude, use Microsoft IMF. It's free and PWNS spam. We use it.

Also, I believe, so long as you're using the cached version of Outlook, that you can even use spam filtering at the Outlook level and accomplish this. Go to options and turn on the filter and set it to high or medium.

In all fairness to him he has told people to do this as well but you know how easy it is to get 100 people to listen. Seems it would be better to nip it at the first level and not have the rest of the office deal with it. We also have many people getting emails on cel phones and pdas when traveling and it would be nice to filter out the spam before they have to deal with it.

Yeah, I was just offering you a quick fix without his intervention. Like I said IMF is free and works as well as anything out there.

And I was obviously too harsh, and mostly kidding anyway, if he's supporting 100 people, it's hard to know what else he's got bogging him down. But IMF is common knowledge by now.
