Need GF2 GTS cooling suggestions

This may be my first ever post in the Cooling forum. Anyhow, my GTS is locking enough to anoy me and I am pretty sure it is heat. The card is not overclocked, I have tried underclocking, and my case temps are good. I will probably replace the card by year end. I was thinking of this kit but don't really feel like spending $31 shipped on a card that is worth about $100 now.

Can some of you experts point to some alternatives.

How about a slot cooler? You just stick it in a slot on the back right next to the GeForce and it'll blow air onto it.

They go for $10-$15.

Computer shows have the slot fans for cheap. I picked one up for $5 bucks at a computer show.
