Need freeware for printing bar codes and design labels

I need some freeware with which I can print bar codes and design labels.

The only applications that I have found have been shareware priced at plus $500 and they have had way to many settings. One application I really liked is called Label flow but it is too expensive plus have way too many functions for my needs.

I only need to be able to create a barcode with text around it and thereafter print it without a little text saying "trial" on the barcode. Would like to print EAN13 and if possible other barcodes too

Hope you have any ideas where I can find this kind of software

Here's a nice website that I used. It creates the barcode as an image at the end that you can copy/paste or download.

I'd think that you could find a font that was in barcodes. That way you could just use Word or some other text editor.

Many of the commercial systems do it that way.
