hey wtf...whenever I run the game and get into an actual game....its like there are no lights or something...its all black but I can see the realtime headlights, streetlights and the sound is perfect...any idea wtf is up with this?

The graphics are pretty good, and the cruise mode (whatever the hell it's called) is exactly what I look for in driving games (it's one of the main reasons I enjoy playing GTA). As such I'll never buy the game because the demo is all I need.

If you're looking for a cruise mode before NFSU2 comes out, try Midnight Club 2. That game was all sorts of fun until it got insanely hard in the later levels.

i thought the graphics were a little too cartoony! gamelay is nice, brooke burns is hot, cars looked good, but it felt cartoony, and the motion blur wasn't as strong as last time.

cranked this up to 1600x1280 with everything but that gay mothion blur on..
and this game is totally hot...
great driving model..
open city rules...
SOUND is FREAKING INCREDIBLE.. real sampled car sounds
cars are incredibly detailed looks exactly like the new 350z down to LED lights and HIDs that look real..

Outrun racing is incredibly fun...
can hardly wait till the whole town is opened up
this is just 1 small area of the city.
and all the shops but the car dealer are not in...
but the car dealer only allows you to switch between 4 tricked out 350Zs

this is the best driving game I have played so far...

btw did you see the LED nitrous purge if you sit still and do it..
freaking bad ass

Motion Blur was one of the best parts of NFS:U I think. I found it to be really fun although when things got serious, I did turn it off.

I wonder what motion blur would look like when drunk.

Ok I figure out why it is doing that to me. When I turn up the level of detail in display options it turns on full scren antialiasing which for some reason fvcks it up so go and turn off antialiasing and see if that helps.

happened to me too with it being all dark except lights. I just flipped it back to default video options and it was good again. Just a demo, no big deal.
