holy shit. I've been looking forward to this just from the interviews, coverage, and screen shots.

None of that even compares to that trailer. This game looks drool worthy.

Shaping up like I imagined too: mix of high-adrenaline gameplay/visuals on top of a hardcore-sim core.

That looks pretty cool, but a bit too much like PGR and GRID. Personally I preferred the semi-realistic-looking arcade racing style from Most Wanted and Carbon (they weren't actually realistic at all but they weren't as over the top as Midnight Club or Burnout). But we'll see how it pans out.

PGR and GRID aren't realistic really, that's more like GTR or Gran Turismo. They're realistic arcade racers I would say and this is in the same class. Looks awesome and seems to really get the intensity of racing that a lot of games seem to miss.

I dunno. This is also being built by the team that handled GTR, and from some early hype, sounds like a lot of core racer will be centered around the hardcore sim style from GTR.

But with the high-intensity, pure adrenaline racing from the arcade-style racers (though I'd even say PGR and GRID are like arcade sims, as opposed to GTR and Turismo as hardcore sims, with GTR taking the hardcore crown).

Looks so arcadey....Its exciting that there are audi's in it but thats about it.

Need for Speed will never stray away from being an arcade type racer. It's needs it's mass appeal and there is no mass apeal in simulation type games because people easily get frustrated from making one mistake a losing a whole race.
