Need for Speed Shift 2, input lag

Hi guys,

Anyone has any ide how to resolve the input lag in Shift 2?

I tried lowering detail levels, tried modifying those xml files disabling dampening but still, there is at least half a second lag when turning.

I use keyboard and don't use any controller. Someone has any idea???

First of all, get a controller. I don't know how you are possibly enjoying this game with keyboard. You need analog inputs for steering, accelerator and brake.

Second, get the patch. If you don't want to get the patch get the "minimod."

I have a controler. But i like it farm more with keyboard. And as i read on other forums ppl with controllers also have input lag.

I will try with the patch.

I have the patch and the game is not much better.
Not fun enough to buy a wheel. Didnt know about the minimod. Will investigate that.

I am using a keyboard too, there isn't too much lag.. mostly the problem is with the cars not handling too well... manually tweak your car settings in game, like suspension, drive height etc.. makes a world of a difference..

I thought about that but every key i press lags. Brakes, throttle, everything responds after a second
