Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 playable demo released

For those of you Canadians out there enjoying your day off from work thanks to Thanksgiving (and for the rest of you with nothing else better to do on Columbus Day), Electronic Arts has released a demo of the PC port of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2.

The demo contains the Single Challenge mode where you can try out a 2 lap single race on the Calypso Coast track using a choice of two cars (Ferrari 360 Spider and Porsche 911 Turbo).

I'm getting it right now at ~90 KB/sec from the California download mirror 3D Gamers has up.

On a side note, this forum has gotten so unbearably slow for non-subscribers (I was one once) it's pathetic. At least keep it LIVABLE.
