Need For Speed 3 - Hot Pursuit + Geforce 2

Dear Friends

I can't seem to get my Geforce 2Pro 64mb to be recognised in NFS3. All is well in NFS PU.....does anyone have any ideas? Also, I can install NFS4, but when I goto playing it, there is alwaiys a message saying insert disk!! I have cleaned the CD, but it has stopped working after many months! Any ideas?

Sounds like data corruption of some sort. When I had trouble of that sort, it turnd out my cd-rom was the culprit. As for your video card detection problem, im not really sure. Definantly sounds like a hardware compatability issue though.

VideoCard:

There's no in-game option for choosing video settings (dumb)

you need to go to start-->programs--->Electronic Arts---->Need for Speed III--->3d device setup

the rest is history.
