The version I have isn't compatible, and I cannot find one at Nortel's site.. Anyone know where one is?

I wonder if the built in VPN software will work? I think I'll try using that... grr now I gotta boot back into Win2k to get the server IP :disgust:

Well, Nortel doesn't support WinXP (much like Win98) and so you're probably SOL as far as support goes. They're still making sure stuff (like ECMS) is Win2k compatible...

What bites is these clients probably work fine. WinXP setup just 'assumes' that they are incompatable.

I'll call tomorrow (official release date for XP) to see what their plans are.. Basically I want to kill my dual boot w/ win2k but can't until they get this fixed!

Which reminds me.. I need to work this weekend!

There is a newer client available, but they are only sending it out to 'authorized enterprise users' -- they are allowing the enterprises that use their software to download and use the newer version at their discretion. Unfortunately, I doubt whether most companies will start updating their clients anytime soon -- dual boot it is..... unless you download the client from ....errr... shall we say "other" sources. Before people PM me and ask -- no, I can't send them to you.

Also, I've confirmed that the older clients indeed do not work on XP - it's not just XP reporting that they won't work.....
