I hope I'm not out of line taking this to this forum. If I am I'm sorry, but I have tried several forums here and at ABIT and I either get no answers or I get ans. that really aren't ans. they are more like maybe's.

1. I was hijacked by a nasty called whenu and was able to get it off my system, but either the highjacker or the act of removing it has rendered my automatic http nill. That is, I can no longer type anandtech.com and hit go. If I do I get a banner saying microsft cannot find anandtech.com check your spelling or your path. I can only get it to search by typing http://www.anandtech.com. Anandtech is only an example, it happens with any URL. So I guess I'm asking how do you fix your http? Please be gentel, I'm only about one step above novice and notice I said about.

2. I have an ABIT IS7 MOBO and I would like to go to a RAID 1 array. My chipset allows RAID but I am not sure if I can add a SATA 150 120GB HD, to my ATA 133 120GB, which serial via. a Serilell 2 adapter, and if I can would I be smart to make the SATA the master. Or, should I get an identical ATA 133 and put a second Serilell 2 on it.
I just thought It might improve my system speed a little with a SATA in the mix.

Sorry again if this isn't highly technical but just thought since no one seems to have an answer that maybe it is high tech. Thank you.

1. Was this a virus? Either way, you still have issues. I saw in your other post that you were not able to delete the files found by spybot/adaware, this is not good. Personnally, I would save critical data and reformat the drive.

2. Did you install the drivers when you installed xp? Also its best to have two identical HD's, in this case you'll need two sata drives. You can check out this topic at abit-usa for more detailed info. Raid Set up
