Alright, so it's been a while since I've last used Excel. years. I have to make a graph. With a line that would technically be y=-1/2x+50. So x is 0 to 50 and y is 0 to 100.

HOW?

I can't seem to get it to work! I try putting numbers in and then using the graph wizard, but it always thinks there are two lines, with the units being the row I have the numbers in.

It's so simple I can't do it!

And just because no one needs one...free gmail invite for the first successfully helpful answer. :p

Well, got moved by a mod...and one person's emailed me an answer, so the gmail's gone out. BUT, why if I put 0-100 in increments of 10 in column 1 and 0-50 in increments of 5 in column 2, can I not replicate that same graph? I have other ones with slightly different intercepts, so I want to know what I'm doing wrong.

Lastly, my problem with the graph I was sent is that there are 100 units for the x-axis, so therefore the picture of the graph shows up to like 61 due to formatting...I'd have to widen it to show all 100. Is there anyway to change this so that I can see all 100 in a normal small picture?
