Need estimate price on watch repair.

I have this old watch that needs a new watch coil. Anyone have any idea what sort of price range I would be looking at? Thanks in advance.

Lots of variables. Pocket watch or Wrist watch?

IT would be good to get an overhaul (you'll probably get one anyway).

By "Coil" do you mean the mainspring (the spring you wind up to make it go) or the escapement (the part that "ticks")?

Generally, for mechanical work on spring-powered watches, figure US$75.00 - $250.00, depending on what kind of watch, what needs fixing, overhaul & lube, shipping, etc

Kinda depends on the watch, but the above sounds about right but it could be a bit more. And how do you know it needs a new mainspring anyways?

I took it in for an estimate and the guy quoted me 95. Not sure I wanted to pay that much for a watch that was 300 to begin with and the band and face is all scratched up.
