Ok I am selling an item on ebay, and I also have a buy it now price.

This dumbass claims that he accidentally clicked the buy it now price, and he won the item. I believe he is BS-in me, even if he did accidentally click the buy it now, he will need to reconfirm this, right?

So my question is, is there a way that I can reset the listing? or am I SOL?

that should answer all of your questions.
You will get your final value fees from ebay, but you will have to file a non paying bidder alert. The only way around that it to get the buyer to send you the fees and just relist it from scratch.

:)

I know its a binding contract, but this dumbass doesnt want to pay. I will definitely leave a neg feedback. But is there a way that I can reset my auction to a state before this dumbass clicked the buy it now?

I read the faq section. So I have to relist the item again to get my listing fees refunded???

or do I have just to wait a certain time, then file for a Non paying bidder, then get a refund straight away?

You can relist right now.
You need to wait a certain amount of time (cant recall how much) before you can file a non paying bidder alert. You do not need to relist to file a NPB alert. You can wait if you want, but I dont see any reason to do so.

Ok you can relist the item,
but since the Final Value Fee has been chargd to your seller account.
I believe there is an option on the site where you can request for a final value fee credit as a result of a non-paying bidder
yeah confirmations are confirmations before bidding,
Even I have made that mistake before. Its hard to say whether its a real case or not though.

Make sure you don't lose any money as a result of that.
Claim the final value fee credit and relist the item.

As for the feedback, its up to u on how much u trust the case of the bidder. Maybe if he offers to pay u the listing fee and apologize for wasting your time. He may still receive a neutral or positive from you.
