Need E2180 OC'ing Critique

Thanks to everyone here I'm able to OC my 2180 to 3GHz no problem...what a boost!
Specifics: Abit P35/E2180/Arctic Freezer Pro/Kingston Value N5 DDR2-800

FSB 9x333 - 3.0GHz
DRAM 1:120
CPUv 1.4450v
DDR2v Auto (1.8)
Timing 5-5-5-18
FSB: DRAM 5:6

Prime95 ran for 3-4 hours with temps below 60C. Thinking I may still be able to push a bit past 3GHz but am more curious about RAM settings. Have not messed w/them too much and am open for suggestions...Thanks again!

When you finally settle on what you think is your maximum overclock, you're going to want to run Prime95 longer than 3-4 hours to ensure stability.

yes and after you do that, go back and tighten/tweak your memory as desired.

"s. I've owned five kits of 1.8V 1GB x 2 Kingston DDR2 800 "N5" ValueRAM. Slowest stick is stable at 2.1V/480MHz/4-4-4-12-2T or 2.1V/580MHz/5-5-5-18-2T. try a 10x multi with a little more vcore and a 1:1 fsb, or a ratio that keeps your ram at ~800mhz

Usually they pick the mult because it works best at that mult-- go for 10xSomething, like in my sig. Bump up your voltage to 1.4875 and you'll def get to 3.2Ghz; and probably can start pushing it higher too. I'm rock solid at 1.5075v and 10x340; temps get to 74 in Orthos small (only; never seen this in day to day computing/gaming/load/etc). Spec for this chip is 1.5V max and 73.2C per Intel's website. So you can push it that high and you won't be damaging it much-- if at all. Besides, why not, it's only an $80 chip that you'll probably be upgrading to a quad penryn when penryn goes EOL.

I only wish that I'd got better motherboards for these I have here, but they were for family-member desktops. I don't think I can "get there" at 1.44+V Vcore. I think I tried it -- no cigar -- no dice -- no luck.

They're still gonna love these, even so, at 2.67 Ghz.
