Hi
I Had a duel boot of win98@2000 and had problems with 2000 so I formated that partition and reinstalled 2000 (file format fat32 for both partitions) and I have no boot menu? I have tried running setup again but that diden't work I tried selecting repair installation selecting the boot sector and other cominations that diden't work? Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? or point me to a site that explains this?

There is a file in the winNT directory that allows you to manually edit the bootup in win2k, I had to edit mine because I was having the opposite problem as you.. I upgraded from win98, made my partition NTFS and only wanted to load win2k, but was presented with a chioce for win98 even though it was not there. I'll look around and see if I can find the name of the file..
By the way did you install win2kpro from 98? If you didn't that could be why you aren't getting a choice.

ok here is the file boot.ini, it is in the root directory, probably c:\ or d:\
note: you hust have show system files checked AS WELL AS hide protected system files unchecked. in the properties/view section in explorer.
I'm not sure what you will have to add, maybe someone with a dual boot can look at theirs and tell you.
