After trying to make a decision for about a week whether I wanted a 2001FP or a 2005FPW I've decided I'm getting neither. I think I'm going to buy a single Viewsonic VP171b-2 and a dual-DVI card (possibly) now, and another of the same screens in a month or so.
I was browsing the video card section of Newegg last night and came to the realization that I don't know anything about the dual DVI cards. I noticed a few Nvidia cards by XFX from $200-300. Namely the 6600GT and 6800. Suggestions? (must be 8xAGP)
Probably will once again start gaming once I have the hardware to do so, but my Radeon 9000 just isn't cutting it any more.
I don't necessarily prefer either ATI or Nvidia, as long as I can keep the duals when I reboot into my Gentoo install
