...for the following components

1] AGP8x
2] 4 Dimms (dual channel support)
3] 4 SATA (with 2 having option of HW RAID) - SATA II 'if possible'
4] 2 IDE connectors
5] atleast 2 PCI slots

Thanks a lot.

MSI K8N Neo2 Pt, DFI LP UT nF3 Ultra-D look good. But they dont mention support for dual core yet, maybe they are testing new BIOS...dunno.

Anycase, any other good mobo solutions ?

People mention DFI's box says X2 support, but the mobo is kinda limited avail.
Anyways if thats true, is it better than Neo2 Pt for anandtech said Neo2pt is the best, though they didnt test DFI.

also is it worth waiting for later for Uli 1695 ?

For I really need AGP.

Also any chances of the 4400 coming down from the $600s ?

4400's will drop back to mid $500s when demand settles down (as long as they keep running out of stock prices arent likely to fall)

With the high demand for the X2, you won't see a drop in prices for a long time. Based on reports, prices may actually increase to offset revenue losses from the lowering of Sempron prices.
