Need Dual Band A+G router

Am looking to get a Wireless router with dual band capabilities i.e. supports 802.11a/g for home use. I would like to have the basic features of DHCP server, Firewall, WPA, good throughput with mac filtering etc. Price point should be below $100.

I am presently looking at the Linksys WRT55AG. Any suggestions/recommendations?

Thanx

Why? It meets all of your requirements at a decent price point. There is no "best" when it comes to networking. It all comes down to what you need.

Coz it is High Power Wireless, very stable, does static DHCP, WPA-AES, and few more things that the Linksys does not do.

However if you do not need any of these go with the Linksys.

Actually the Linksys does also have all those features too (I own one) outside the 'few more things'.

I was just considering the age of the Linksys (seems original product release was in 2003) and was wondering if there were more recent products which had more processing power or better features like WPA2

The Linksys is not High Power, I am I do not think it does Not do Static DHCP (reserving a Static IP within the DHCP range).

The Buffalo does WPA-AES, aka WPA2.
