Need driver help!

I have a Gainward Geforce2 64MB DDR VIVO Ti 500/XP Golden Sample.

I am currently running the nVidia 23.11's. I went to gainwards site and tried there 2750's but my system won't even get into Windows XP before it crashes and reboots.

The main problem is that I have an unknown device that I am certain is related to my card, but I cannot figure out which drivers it needs.
It shows it as...

VID_04E6 PID_80002000

Can anyone tell me were to get the drivers for this device and why my computer crashes on the 2750's provided by Gainward?

When you restart the PC, choose last known good configuration and then uninstall the drivers. Try the 28.32's from nvidia.com

Why did you upgrade your Video drivers were they causing you problems? Jezzz you should consider yourself lucky for getting the 23.11's to work proprerly on your system! I on the other hand have had such bad luck with Nvidia and any driver above the 21.83's . I am accually scared to install Nvidia drivers on my PC or anyones PC for the matter!

Question number one....are you O/Cing .?..if so ...set it back to normal....

If you can now get into windows ....
use system restore wizard....restore back to the restore point before you installed the driver...
if you can get into windows....

If you still can't get into windows....
hit F8 and get in with safe mode.....then kill the device from there....in deivce manager...

...It should solve all your problems.
