Did you try the *.inf file from here? It looks like this is the original floppy that comes with the monitor. It has the *.inf file which should work under WinME.

You can't use the Sonymon.inf file?

Did you uncompress 'SONYMINF.EXE'? In there should be the Sonymon.inf file which should work for WinME.

Go into the Device Managers (Right Click on My Computers and go to properties).
Go to Monitors --> double click on Sony CPDE400 --> Click on the "Driver" Tab --> Then click on 'Update Driver'

You should 'search for a suitable driver for my device' and 'specify location'. When you specify the location, point it to the directory where you uncompressed your files. Then simply choose the Sonymon.inf file. Hopefully, WinME will accept this *.inf file.

By the way, those are the steps under Win2K but it shoud be similar in WinME.

WinME is based on Win95 and Win98 so the *.inf files should be compatible.
Congratulations!
