A friend of mine is using a Gateway 17" LCD widescreen display (Model #7005032) (link).
In the Display Properties, the display is showing up as a "Plug and Play" monitor, instead of the actual display type. I haven't had any luck finding the correct INF file or driver for the display in the CDs that came with my friend's system.
I'm trying to get the display to use its native 1280x768 resolution in Quake III Arena, rather than using the standard 4:3 monitor resolutions and "forcing" them to fit on the screen by compressing them. Currently, the game is only allowing us to choose from a small selection of 4:3 resolutions.
Can anyone help me locate the correct driver or INF file for this display?
Thanks!
