I have a dual 366@466 machine that is just laying under my desk (actually im trying to sell it in the FS/T). Saw the post about the SETI race, and I'd like to help out (in the past I have only did RC5 WUs, but hey its a race now!). Just started the client on my main machine. But I have no HD for my dual box. It'd be a waste just booting with a dos bootdisk, because of the single cpu support. Is there a bootable CD or FD version of linux that has SMP and network support? Plus, if someone so inclined wants to answer, a linux box shouldnt have a problem sharing a connection using ICS or win2k's routing service should it?
thanks in advance

There are a couple of diskless distros. Slackware 8 ships with such a disk, although I would think there would probably be better options. Although running SETI may be a bit of a hassle since you don't have a HDD.
