i just got a new job and there's alot of information to absorb. i have been thinking of getting a digital voice recorder to use it while im at work so i can remember alot of the stuff(and there's ALOT of stuff). what i'd like to be able to do is take the recording home, edit it on my computer and split it into smaller wav files and name them accordingly. is there a device that can do this? i dont know jack sh!t about these things. also i need something relativly inexpensive.

thanks

For the Olympus and the Sony... do you guys have first hand experience with those products? Just out of curiousity. As much as the technology has improved, I'm wondering about feedback noise?

nevermind, i'm gonna start my own thread. thanks though.
