Need desperate help!

Are you using Cablemodem, DSL, etc? It seems like it's something's up with your DSL/Cable modem.. try unplugging that for a few minutes then plug it back in.

Also log into your linksys by going to it's IP in web browser and find reset factory default settings option. do that as well... then run that linksys wizard again.. if you still get the same error, call you ISP, so some reason your ISP does not issue your router an IP address, they can reset the DHCP entry for you remotely.

im using my laptop on the same network, Ill try what you said tho .i am also on DSL. with a 2wire 2700hg router/modem

i cannot thank you enough, boomerang you have pretty much saved me from not having to do tenth grade again. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! soooo much man i cant even explain how greatful i am....
