Need Decent Video Light I can velcro attach to Canon ZR850

I just bought a ZR850 MiniDV camcorderI like it so far but like most lower cost minidv camcorders it does not come with a cold or hot shoe for adding a light and the little led light it has is more of a marketing ploy than anything. I am looking for a external light that would be light and I could maybe afix it to the camera with velcro or something. Need decent light from it but not looking to pay a ton. Thanks for the suggestions

I know of no such animal. You could consider getting flash mount used with still cameras that will provide a cold shoe and mount a light there. As a novel approach, you could get a head lamp from REI, but you may need to make your own diffuser. LED one's will require changing the white balance.
