Need CPU upgrade advice.

It's been awhile since my last upgrade (08/05) and I don't know squat about the current cpu's and vid cards.
The main use for my comp is CS:Source, Elements 3.0(Photoshop), MS Office, email and surfing.

My current setup:

CPU: Sempron 3100+ (from what i can tell it's the Paris core, Socket 754)

MOBO: ECS 755-A2 Rev 1.0

VID: ATI Radeon 9600XT 128MB/DDR AGP 8X/4X

MEM: 2 512MB Sticks
Kingston Value Ram KVR400/512 2.6V PC3200 DDR400

PQI 512MB PC2700 DDR333

POWER: Antec 350W SL350S

I was thinking that I could probably get some more mileage out of the vid card, mobo and the Kingston memory. I would replace the PQI mem stick and cpu. The memory is pretty easy, I was thinking a 1GB stick of PC3200 would be good. The CPU has me stumped.

So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

If I were you, I'd buy one stick of this RAM: link, and this cpu: link. Those processors will usually run between 2.4 and 2.6 Ghz. You'll also need a more powerful power supply, though, unless you've got the newer version of the SL350, that has 24A on the 12v rail.
