anyone have experience with Thermaltake SonicTower?... how does it compare to the XP-90.... im helping a friend build a new rig and he mentioned that he wanted to get the Sonic Tower... but i suggested against it... i vote for the XP-90 as ive read lots of great reviews for it as well as from ppl on the board...

any thoughts would be appreicated.. thanks
 
Never used the Sonic Tower but I'm intrested in trying it out and the other Thermaltake passive cooler as well at the Scythe Ninja..

I think the Scythe Ninja would outperform the Thermaltake offerings.

Personally, I would take the XP-90 first.
 
Believe it or not, the Sonic Tower with a 120mm fan performs slightly better than the XP-90, but for the size, weight, and price, I'd definately pick the XP-90 over it.
