hey there, can i get a few people to "apraise" this computer? just curious to know how much it's worth.

900MHz T-Bird ("Chrome" Orb)
384MB Pc133 memory
12 10 32x Plextor CDRW
10x DVD\40x CD-ROM
LS-120 Drive
Zip Drive
20GB Hard Drive
GeForce II MX 32MB
ATI Rage Pro (Dual monitor Counterpart)
Modem
Sound Blaster Live! X-Gamer
Netgear 10\100 Networking Card
ABIT-KT7 slot A
17"Monitor (Proview/EMC)

I guess that about does it. thanks all.

That's kinda hard to say. A rig like that can sell "here" from $450 to $700 but, if it was mine and it was working good I would probably ask closer to $900 for it.

I may get flamed for this, but, that's just my 2 cents worth.

What do you think guys?

They made Slot-A Birds all the way to 1GHz. The 1GHz part was rare and every once in a while you'll see one selling for an outrageous price (in comparison to Socket-A 1GHz parts.) I had one, and kind of wish I would have held on to it 🙂

700 seems ok.. but i bet, if you broke that up, and sold parts separate.. you would come up with close to 900! 🙂

$100 is a good price for this?

384MB Pc133 memory
$60

12 10 32x Plextor CDRW
Don't bother selling, if you do, you'll probably get like $50 for it

10x DVD\40x CD-ROM
$40

Zip Drive
Need more information, is it Parallel Port or USB? I bought my Parallel Port Zip Drive last year(used) for $50 w/ 2 zip discs.. If you do sell, $50

20GB Hard Drive
Dude, it's a used Hard Drive. $25 at most

GeForce II MX 32MB
$65

Modem
$1

ABIT-KT7 slot A
$100

17"Monitor (Proview/EMC)
$250

The things I left out I don't know the price range to. Tht total that I guessed prices on is $750.. If you sold seperately, you shouldn't expect any more than $800 for it though.

well in my own opinion i do not think mr code dudes prices are accurate...

900MHz T-Bird ("Chrome" Orb)- $90

384MB Pc133 memory- $60

12 10 32x Plextor CDRW- $110 (its a damn plextor)

10x DVD\40x CD-ROM- $50

LS-120 Drive- $20?

Zip Drive- $40

20GB Hard Drive- $60 for 5400 rpm, $75 7200rpm

GeForce II MX 32MB- $75

ATI Rage Pro (Dual monitor Counterpart)- $30?

Modem- $10

Sound Blaster Live! X-Gamer- $40

Netgear 10\100 Networking Card- $15

ABIT-KT7 slot A- kt7 are socket A...- $85

17"Monitor (Proview/EMC)- $130

most of these prices are waht you would see in the FS/Ft forums

A no-name 17" monitor, used, is worth about $100-120 MAX! For $250 you can get a very nice, brand new, 19" monitor just about anywhere.

I'd say $700. Tops.

Why? Pricewatch is where everyone else will be looking.

Besides, his system isn't a Gateway or a Dell, why try to compare?

Wow, that's wierd, I went to PM you ksherman right after you replied but you weren't logged in. Huh......

<< 20gig $25??? no way, i dont care if it is used.

$50 is very reasonable for the hard drive
>>

I think $50 is too much for a used hard drive. I bought my 60gb Maxtor hd for $110 NEW. Take 1/3 of the price which is basically $37, subtract $10 since it's used, you get $27.. At least, that's my reasoning.

<< Wow, that's wierd, I went to PM you ksherman right after you replied but you weren't logged in. Huh...... >>

im on now

<< That's kinda hard to say. A rig like that can sell "here" from $450 to $700 but, if it was mine and it was working good I would probably ask closer to $900 for it. >>

Hey, my bad, I didn't even notice when I first gave an estimate that there was a monitor with this rig, so, I would have to raise that est. by $75-$100.

Thanks..........Jeff

I'll buy a 20 GB HD off anyone for $25!! A 20 GB HD is still VERY useful and I would say worth $45 - $55, depending on the RPM's. You'll see very few HD's this big for sale used.

for someone who knows what they are doing and can build it themselves if they wanted...i would say around $700

for someonewho has a clue but wants to save a few dollars over oem and can't build it themselves (and doesn't care about the warranty)...i would put it closer to $1000

for someone who has no idea...they would go buy a dell dimension 4100 with a 1ghz p3 (surrounded by crap) because they wouldn't believe that your 900mhz system could be faster overall
